Cory Heck and Eric Derheimer Elected Partner

May 23, 2023: CID Capital (“CID”), announced that Cory Heck and Eric Derheimer have been elected Partner as of May 2023.

"Since joining CID Capital in 2014 both Cory and Eric have made immense contributions to our firm as well as the respective portfolio companies they work with. Their election to Partner is in recognition of the significant contributions they have made over the past nine years, consistently going above and beyond to serve our limited partners' interests. We are thrilled for both Cory and Eric and are excited for their continued contributions to CID Capital and our investors." said Steve Cobb, Managing Partner.

Cory leads new investment opportunities and supports CID's existing portfolio companies. Cory currently represents CID on the boards of Wiseway, Georgia Metals, Extra Mile Brands, and LumiSource + Grandview Gallery. Cory was instrumental in the successful exits of Seaga, Team Drive-Away, and ProSource. In addition to his transaction and portfolio responsibilities, Cory is involved in investor relations and manages CID’s debt structuring and capital relationships. Previously, Cory was a member of the Corporate Banking Group at BMO Capital Markets.

Cory holds an MBA from The University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a BA from DePauw University. In his free time, Cory enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children and supporting his favorite sports teams, especially his beloved Florida State Seminoles.

Eric leads new investment opportunities and supports CID's existing portfolio companies. Eric currently represents CID on the boards of Strahman Valves, Park Supply, PDQ, Midwest Remediation, Giftcraft, and Lettermen’s Energy. Eric was also instrumental in the successful exits of ABC Industries and Classic Accessories. Eric leads CID’s buy-side acquisition programs. Previously Eric was with Greenhill & Co., the Carlyle Group, and UBS.

Eric received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, where he was a Kelley Scholar. When away from the office, Eric is very involved in coaching and managing his three children's softball and baseball teams.
