July 31st, 2023: Indianapolis-based private equity firm CID Capital (“CID”) is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Tom Shaw to support the firm's continued growth.

Tom joins CID Capital as a Managing Director on the Investment Team, and his primary responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities, due diligence oversight, execution of platform and add-on transactions, and portfolio company growth initiatives. Prior to joining CID, Tom was a Partner at Monument Microcap Partners and a Principal at HKW. Previously, Tom was an Associate at Wynnchurch Capital and started his career as an investment banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Tom earned his B.S. from Indiana University and an MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

 

Outside of work, Tom enjoys playing golf, rooting for his Indiana sports teams, and chasing around his two young daughters.
