Indianapolis-based private equity firm CID Capital (“CID”) is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Clint Leer to support the firm's continued growth.
"We are excited to welcome Clint to the CID Capital team. He is a key addition to the firm and brings a deep corporate development background alongside critical accounting and financial analysis skills that position him well to make immediate contributions in our transaction review and diligence efforts. We are looking forward to Clint working alongside the CID team and our high-quality portfolio company management teams as we acquire complementary businesses to further bolster their respective value creation plans. Clint's talents are a great match for the CID Capital team and we are thrilled to have him join us," said Steve Cobb, Managing Partner.
Clint joins the CID Capital team as a Senior Associate and is primarily responsible for evaluating and completing new investment transactions. Prior to joining CID, Clint was with Lighthouse Autism Center, a Cerebrus portfolio company, where he led the company's acquisition activities. Prior to Lighthouse, Clint was on the corporate development team at Stanley Black & Decker, where his responsibilities included identifying new opportunities, financial modeling, due diligence, valuation, and deal execution. Clint began his career with RSM in assurance services and holds a CPA designation.
Clint holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Outside of work, Clint enjoys rooting for his Indiana sports teams, playing pickleball, and hanging out with his dog, Doug.
