November 10, 2023: Georgia Metals, a leading value-added distributor of metal roofing and paneling products and a current portfolio company of Indianapolis-based private equity firm CID Capital (“CID”), announced that it has expanded into the Midwest with the acquisition of Mansea Metal, Inc.

The acquisition of Mansea Metal expands the Georgia Metals platform into three new states with the addition of Mansea’s four locations in Winchester, KY, Walton, KY, Mt. Zion, IL, and Dayton, OH. This was the third acquisition by Georgia Metals since partnering with CID in August of 2022, having previously acquired Upstate Metals in Anderson, SC, and Neal Strickland Roofing / Deep South Metals in East Palatka, FL.
