CID Capital is pleased to announce that Strahman Valves, a CID portfolio company and leading producer of engineered process valves and wash down equipment, has successfully acquired BI-TORQ Valve Automation, a leading actuated valve manufacturer for process industries located in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL.
The acquisition provides Strahman with the capability to design, manufacture and supply a wider range of valve products and actuation equipment, particularly thermal shut-off valves used in fire protection systems. BI-TORQ will continue to operate from its facility in Illinois, with Strahman making additional investments in sales, marketing and operational infrastructure. The entire BI-TORQ team will continue on in their roles under Strahman ownership.
