September 15, 2022: Indianapolis-based private equity firm CID Capital (“CID”), which recently closed its largest fund in the firm's history, announced that it has partnered with Georgia Metals. Founded in 1974, Georgia Metals is a leading regional provider of metal paneling, primarily used in roofing, wall panels and other metal building-related products and accessories. The Company provides a broad selection of high quality products throughout three locations that span the state of Georgia.
CID worked closely with Tripp Strickland, President of Georgia Metals, to execute the transaction and will continue partnering with Tripp throughout the investment. Tripp commented, "Georgia Metals is proud to be the go-to partner in our markets, which is something we have earned with the utmost focus on quality products and customer service. CID's experience and expertise made them the ideal partner to support our strategic growth plans as we expand throughout the Southeast." "Our partnership with Georgia Metals presents an opportunity to back an outstanding management team and a business that is well positioned for growth," said Cory Heck, Managing Director. "We are very excited to support an acquisition strategy that leverages the Company's existing strengths in service and execution."
